The goal of Money Matters is to increase financial literacy skills of Canadian adult learners, which leads to increased confidence in managing their personal finances. This is an in-class, workbook-based program that’s written in clear language. Money Matters is an introductory financial literacy program, it’s written at a grade 6-8 reading level so it can be accessible even to adults who struggle to read but the material is helpful for all. This course is 4 workshops over 3 weeks. The workshops are Spending Plans, Banking Basics, Credit and Borrowing and RESPs and other ways to save.
