English with a Focus on Phonetics – Level 1
Conversation Focus: Start with “Hello, how are you?” and become comfortable with simple conversations about family, work, and everyday situations.
Vocabulary/Grammar: Start learning common words (nouns, pronouns, verbs, adjectives, and prepositions) and using them correctly in sentences.
Phonogram Focus: Learn to hear, write, read, and correctly pronounce ALL the sounds for first 26 (of 70) phonograms.
Note: Phonogram means a letter or group of letters which say one “voiced’ sound in a given word.
This class meets Mondays and Wednesdays, 6:00-8pm.
