Microsoft Excel for Windows PC focuses on developing skills for computer spreadsheet use. Learn valuable computer skills as you progress through each level from Beginner to Advanced. Take all 4 classes of the series and save!

Level 1

This session will introduce Excel and its power and potential. Formatting and data manipulation will be explored. Formulas will be used to combine and summarize data. (Pre-requisite – Basic typing & comfort working with a Windows PC)

Tuesday, Apr 4 – 1-4pm

Level 2

A continuation from Level 1. Continue to sort, filter, summarize data, charts and tables. Complex functions & absolute references will be explored. All the different view forms will be reviewed. (Pre-requisite – Microsoft Excel Level 1 or equivalent)

Tuesday, Apr 11 – 1-4pm

Level 3

Level 3 will continue to explore data manipulation. Groups, subgroups, charts and multiple sheets will be used to present data. Specialty functions will be used to aid in data entry and presentation. (Pre-requisite – Microsoft Excel Levels 1 and 2 or equivalent knowledge and experience using a spreadsheet program)

Tuesday, Apr 18 – 1-4pm

Level 4

Conditional formatting, Pick lists and Pivot tables will be explored. Inserting graphics and hyperlinks will be introduced. Data columns will be split and joined. This and all sessions will be adjusted to meet the needs of the students. (Pre-requisite – Microsoft Excel Levels 1, 2, and 3 or equivalent knowledge and experience using a spreadsheet program)

Tuesday, Apr 25 – 1-4pm

We recommend that you start will Level 1 and then take the number of levels that you require as below:

  • Level 1 only is $75
  • Level 1 & 2 is $135
  • Level 1 & 2 & 3 is $200
  • Level 1 – 4 is $270

Refund Information:

Cancellations: St. Albert Further Education reserves the right to cancel any class. A full refund will be issued for all cancelled classes.

Withdrawals, Transfers & Refunds: To withdraw from a class for a refund: • More than 7 days notification – full refund • Less than 7 days notification – credit voucher less 25% After class begins – no refund or credit Refunds may take up to four weeks to process. Refunds will not be issued for non-attendance. Classes will not be canceled due to severe weather.
