The challenges facing Canadians and newcomers that want to start a business in Alberta are multi-dimensional and ever changing. To meet these challenges, one needs to understand the business envionment and the process of starting a business. The learning objectives of this course will be understanding the business environment, identifying your business and identifying your client and location. This course will guide you through the steps to preparing a business plan, understanding business registration/incorporation and many other aspects that new business owners face.
Omoruyi Obaskil, BA Econ, CBAP, ITIL, PMP: Omoruyi Obaseki is a new instructor with Further Education. He is a Certified Business Analysis Professional and has over 7 years project management experience. He has taught at CDI College and runs training classes for corporations.

Withdrawals, Transfers & Refunds: To withdraw from a class for a refund: • More than 7 days notification – full refund • Less than 7 days notification – credit voucher less 25% After class begins – no refund or credit Refunds may take up to four weeks to process. Refunds will not be issued for non-attendance. Classes will not be canceled due to severe weather.
