Media Literacy is being presented by Willy Grant from the Great West Media.  Media literacy is an expanded conceptualization of literacy that includes the ability or skills to to access and analyze media messages for accuracy, credibility, or evidence of bias the content created and consumed including radio, television, the internet, and social media, as well as create, reflect and take action, using the power of information and communication to make a
difference in the world.

Human Libraries started in 2003 in Denmark. They provide a safe and welcoming environment in which participants can learn more about individuals in their community by “borrowing” a person. This “Human Book” shares one-on-one time with you to learn about their life, job, and more. You can listen. You can ask questions. You can learn. You can open your mind. You can change your beliefs about different people and cultures.
