Plant Based Eating Literacy is presented by Yvonne Smith of Journey to Health. The ideal whole food plant based diet consists of minimally refined, plant-based foods that grow in nature. It is strongly recommended by health professionals to: reduce saturated fats and cholesterol, eat more leafy greens, eat a variety of fruits and vegetables, and eat a diet of fiber rich foods. Get back to basics. Eat minimally refined foods and eat foods that grow in nature.
